| Q. What is Chem-Dry? |
| A. Chem-Dry is a patented cleaning method that established its superior system over two decades ago. Our cleaning solution uses CO2 to produce millions of sparkling, effervescent carbonated bubbles which quickly penetrate each carpet fiber, dissolving dirt, grease and pet stains in seconds. Acting as tiny propellants, these bubbles actually lift dirt to the surface for removal. |
| Q. Can other cleaning methods actually hurt my carpets? |
| A. Yes! The sticky residues from shampoo never really dry. Instead, they cling to every carpet fiber, actually attracting more dust and soil. Thus, shampooed carpets re-soil very quickly. |
| "Steam" or hot water extraction can cause carpets to rot or mildew because of excessive drying time. And the extreme flooding of carpets so common with these methods can utterly destroy the jute (canvas-like) backing on fine carpet. Such flooding can also damage hardwood floors beneath the carpets, making them warp. |

| Q. Will my carpets stay clean longer with Chem-Dry? |
| A. Yes! One of the greatest advantages of the Chem-Dry method is that it is free of sticky residues. Once soil, grease and stains are removed, the solution evaporates. Since crystal clear CO2 is the dirt releasing agent rather than soaps or harsh chemicals, there are no sticky residues left in your carpets to attract dirt. Laboratory tests show that carpets cleaned the Chem-Dry way actually stay clean as long as factory fresh carpets do. |
| Q. How long will it take to clean my carpets by the Chem-Dry Method? |
| A. Carpets cleaned by the Chem-Dry process usually dry completely in 1 to 2 hours. Because the Chem-Dry method takes minutes to dry compared to the hours (or days) with shampoo or steam methods, furniture can be moved into cleaned areas almost immediately. The entire process is faster than any other method. It usually takes less than two hours to clean carpets in an average size house. |

A. We accept cash, checks or credit cards - including Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Payment is expected when services are rendered. Q. How often should I have my carpets cleaned? A. We recommend having your carpets cleaned a minimum of once every year. If you have kids, pets (or both), the recommendation is every 6-8 months. Regular cleaning will not only improve your home's appearance, but it will also contribute to the overall indoor air quality and extend the life of your carpeting. |
